What are my options for restoring a deleted constituent record?

After a constituent record has been deleted out of CRM, what are my options?

There are two options:

1. Pull the Constituent record in the backup copy and use that as a reference to reenter everything from scratch on a new Constituent record in Production.  The audit history of the changes made to this Constituent won’t be there of course.

 

 2. Use that backup and restore that data and overwrite Production.   Any data entered between when the backup was taken data and when it is restored would be lost.
