Credit Card Batch process did not finish terminated unexpectedly after running for hours

You might notice that your credit card processing job runs for hours with the message "Waiting for Blackbaud Payment Service to complete processing the batch..." before failing. The job's history status will show "Did not finish" with the message "Process terminated unexpectedly". This happens if the batch is corrupt and will happen continuously until the batch is deleted.
To resolve this issue, find and edit the business process and uncheck the box enabling the scheduled job. After the process is disabled, delete the corrupted batch and then enable the scheduled job again.
