This error occurs as a result of eTapestry's prior User Interface set up. The field "Default Recognition Name" used to be exposed on the old Account Settings page all of the time.  It should have only exposed for data input field when the Recognition Type was set to Custom.  This means that a user at the organization previously input a custom recognition name for this account and didn't realize they also needed to set the Recognition Type to custom.  Our improved User Interface and Import module no longer allows users to make this mistake. You must re-save the recognition information on the account in order to wipe out the old Default Recognition Name field so that the recognition information match.

  2. Click Find an Account
  3. Search for and click on the constituent's name
  4. Click Account Settings
  5. Click Change Recognition
  6. Click Continue
  7. Click Save and Go to Account
