You need to initiate a password reset. When choosing the option to send a password reset via email, you receive an onscreen confirmation that the email was sent, but you don't receive the email.
This is often a result of filters on a network preventing success email delivery. Check the spam folder on your personal inbox. If the email is not within the personal spam filter, work with your IT department to check the network's spam filtering system.
WordPress uses the IP address of the website along with a unique domain to send emails. To determine this information, you will need to review the email headers of the password reset email.
Request an Administrator log in and update your email address to a personal email address, temporarily, for example an @gmail.com email address. Then, initiate a password reset email. After the email is received, forward this to your IT department who can review it to determine the IP address of the sending and the sending domain for the site.
