As advances in technology continuously drive product innovation, Blackbaud releases new products, features, and services that help nonprofit organizations achieve their missions. This means that clients can realize new value from the consistent investment and advancement of many Blackbaud solutions while Blackbaud simultaneously prepares more mature products for product end of life. 
 
Maintenance service will change for the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync on December 31, 2017. This means that Blackbaud will no longer offer critical updates, bug fixes, and security and compliance improvements for the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync after December 31, 2017.
 
*Note: This change in maintenance service does not impact Team Approach and is only directed at the two-way sync between Team Approach and BBCRM known as the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync.
 
Beginning January 1, 2018:
 
Blackbaud will continue to:
  • maintain access to your BBCRM installation
  • provide access to the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync, meaning you will continue to be able to run the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync as you normally do today
  • answer support questions
 
Blackbaud will no longer offer the following services:
  • enhancements to the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync, including creating a version that works with any BBCRM database beyond BBCRM version 3.0
  • bug fixes or critical updates for the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync or BBCRM 3.0
 
If an organization continues using the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync after December 31, 2017, they will do so with the understanding that Blackbaud will no longer provide updates, fixes, or be responsible for data integrity or security after December 31, 2017.
 
Please be aware that the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync maintenance contracts will not extend beyond December 31, 2017. If you have any questions about your maintenance renewal or how it will be impacted by the end of support for the Team Approach/Milestone 2 Sync, please work with your Blackbaud account team.
