Note: As of July 9, 2018, Blackbaud's School Management solutions (which include Core, onBoard, onCampus, onMessage, and onRecord) are utilizing a new top level navigation. This primarily affects users performing administrative tasks-constituent navigation for most parents, students, faculty, and alumni will remain the same. We appreciate your patience as we work to update our documentation. If you are seeing this message, the content of this solution is still being vetted for possible updates. Please refer to this mapping document if you need assistance finding a task in the new navigation.
When trying to save the Gradebook setup, I get a red banner that says "Error saving Gradebook Setup"
This is usually caused by having 2 of the same Assignment Types in your Gradebook. This is usually caused due to teachers creating assignments with those assignment types before they have set up the Gradebook resulting in the Duplicates. This can also affect the Cum Grade from being calculated correctly as some of the assignments with 0 points or weights have nothing to calculate. If this happens see How do I contact Blackbaud K-12 Support? and provide us with the name of the:
Assignment type(s) that are duplicated
We will have the Development Team remove the duplicate Assignment Type, at which time we will notify you and then you will be able to save your Gradebook setup as needed.
