The following steps cover what needs updating in a security group after a module is unlocked. For full information on each module, please click on the bolded name of each module above their respective steps.

(NOTE: The notation "which must be marked" means a box must be checked to review its settings. To grant access, leave the boxes checked. To not grant access at all, leave boxes unchecked.)
 


RE:Alum
  1. Open security group at Admin > Security
  2. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  3. Highlight Analytical Reports (which must be marked)
  4. In Report Names box to right, find Alumni Class Analysis and mark the box beside it
  5. Find Parent Class Analysis and mark the box beside it
  6. Back in left Report Types box on left, highlight Profiles, Lists, and Directories
  7. In Report Names box to right, find Alumni Class List and mark the box beside it
  8. Find Grandparent Directory and mark the box beside it
  9. Find Parent Directory and mark the box beside it
  10. Find Professional Directory and mark the box beside it
  11. Click OK
  12. Cick Save and Close

RE:EFT
  1. Open security group at Admin > Security
  2. Highlight Batch (which must be marked)
  3. Click Options
  4. Highlight Gift (which must be marked)
  5. Mark Automatically Generate Transactions/Payments and/or Create EFT Transmission Files
  6. Click OK
  7. Highlight Personal Information (which must be marked)
  8. Click Options
  9. Review Personal Information security options
  10. Click OK
  11. Click Save and Close

RE:Event
  1. Open security group
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked) 
  3. Mark Actions (Events), Jobs (Events), and/or Participants (Events)
  4. Mark View, Add, Edit, and/or Delete rights as needed in each of the above items that were marked
  5. Click OK
  6. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  7. Click Options
  8. Highlight Event Management Reports (which must be marked)
  9. In box to right, mark which Event Management Reports you would want to grant access for
  10. Click OK
  11. Click Save and Close

RE:Member
  1. Open security group
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked) 
  3. Click Options
  4. Check off Memberships in the left menu
  5. Mark View, Add, Edit, and/or Delete rights as needed 
  6. Click OK
  7. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  8. Click Options
  9. Highlight Membership Reports (which must be marked)
  10. In box to right, mark which Membership Reports you would want to grant access for
  11. Click OK
  12. Mark Membership Scanning (if desired) under Group Privileges
  13. Click Save and Close

RE:PlannedGiftTracker
  1. Open security group
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked)
  3. Click Options
  4. Check off Planned Gift in left menu 
  5. Mark View, Add, Edit, and/or Delete rights as needed
  6. Click OK
  7. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  8. Click Options
  9. Highlight Financial Reports (which must be marked)
  10. In box to right, scroll down to Planned Gift Report and mark the box beside it
  11. Click OK
  12. Click Save and Close

RE:Queue
  1. Open security group
  2. Highlight Administration (which must be marked)
  3. Click Options
  4. Mark RE:Queue
  5. Click OK
  6. Click Save and Close

RE:Search
  1. Open security group
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked) 
  3. Click Options
  4. Under Constituent Privileges, scroll down to the Prospect header
  5. Mark View, Add, Edit, and/or Delete for Prospect, Financial, Proposals, Ratings, Annotations, and/or Giving Score
  6. Click OK
  7. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  8. Click Options
  9. Highlight Prospect Research Reports (which must be marked)
  10. In box to right, mark which Prospect Research Reports you would want to grant access for
  11. Click OK
  12. Click Save and Close

RE:Tribute
  1. Open security group at Admin > Security
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked)
  3. Click Options
  4. Highlight Constituents on left menu (which must be marked)
  5. In upper right box on CONSTITUENTS, mark View to see Tribute records and Edit to be able to add, edit, and delete Tribute records
  6. In upper right box, scroll down to Honor/Memorial and mark View
  7. Highlight Gifts on left menu (which must be marked)
  8. Mark View, Add, Edit, and/or Delete rights as needed (This will apply to entire gift record, not just Tribute)
  9. Click OK
  10. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  11. Click Options
  12. Highlight Tribute Reports in left list (which must be marked)
  13. In Report Names box to right, mark desired reports you would want to grant access for
  14. Click OK
  15. Highlight Mail (which must be marked)
  16. Click Options
  17. Mark Honor/Memorial Acknowledgement Letters to allow user to run
  18. Click OK
  19. Click Save and Close

RE:Volunteer
  1. Open security group at Admin > Security
  2. Highlight Records (which must be marked)
  3. Click Options
  4. Highlight Constituents on left (which must be marked)
  5. In upper right, scroll down Volunteer section.
  6. Set View, Add, Edit, and Delete rights as desired for the listed Volunteer information
  7. Highlight Jobs on left (which must be marked)
  8. Set View, Add, Edit, and Delete rights as desired
  9. If the RE:Event module is present, highlight Jobs (Events) on the left (which must be marked)
  10. Set View, Add, Edit, and Delete rights as desired
  11. Click OK
  12. Highlight Reports (which must be marked)
  13. Click Options
  14. Highlight Volunteer Reports in left list (which must be marked)
  15. In Report Names box to right, mark desired reports you would want to grant access for
  16. Click OK
  17. Highlight Mail (which must be marked)
  18. Click Options
  19. Mark Volunteer Follow-Up Letters to allow user to run
  20. Click OK
  21. Highlight Batch (which must be marked)
  22. Click Options
  23. Highlight Time Sheet under Batch Types (which must be marked)
  24. Set the desired Batch Privileges in upper right
  25. Click OK
