The jump to date, corresponds to the view you are using to view the Events calendar. The is a helpful feature to use if you need to view a specific date, week, month, or year in the future. The Events Calendar can be viewed the following ways and the jump date will show as follows: 
  1. Day View - When select a Jump to Date the calendar will take you to the day that you have selected. If you are already viewing this day, you will see the calendar view does not change.
  2. Week View - When select a Jump to Date the calendar will take you to the week that the selected date occurs in. If the Jump to Date occurs in the week you are currently viewing, you will see the calendar view does not change
  3. Month View - When selecting a Jump to date the calendar will take you to the month the selected date occurs in. If the Jump to Date occurs in the month that you are currently viewing, you will see the calendar view does not change
  4. Year View - When selecting a Jump to Date, the calendar will take you to the year that the selected date occurs in. If the Jump to Date occurs in the year that you are currently viewing, you will see that the calendar view does not change
