Order fee is charged on the original order price and not on the discounted price

If a ticket has been discounted in Daily Sales the percentage based fee is charged on the original price, not the discounted price.

Our Product Development team has reviewed this issue, and its impact in the software. After careful consideration, we have determined that this issue will not be addressed currently in the Altru software due to the fact that fees have always been calculated this way in Altru. Product Development will be focusing development resources in other existing areas of the product, as well as new feature development. If you would like, we can create an idea to request a change in the functionality. 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Tickets and click Sales Methods
  2. Click Daily Sales and click on the Fees tab
  3. Click Add and select a Fee with a percentage off
  4. Go to Sales and click Daily Sales
  5. Click a General Admission ticket and see the fee added on the order
  6. Click the Discounts and promotions button and select a discount
  7. See that the fee is based off of the original ticket amount, and not the new discounted amount
