Error: Invalid procedure call or argument when generating Custom Report

Users may encounter the following error when generating a Custom Report which may contain a subreport

Error:  Invalid Procedure call or argument

 
Users may be able to resolve the error by verifying the export is mapped to the correct file location.
  1. Open the export the report uses
  2. Click Export
  3. Verify the save location is the same location the report is mapped to.  If not, update the file location and click Save.
  4. Error is resolved
If these steps do not resolve the error, or if the mapping keeps getting dropped, please contact Support.  We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information

Steps to Duplicate

1. Log into Raiser's Edge

2. Select Reports > Custom Reports

3. Open any applicable Custom Report

4. Select Preview

5. Error
