Within the AngelPoints system, event and system managers are able to create a Recurring Event that occurs based on weekday, day of month, etc. This saves time and trouble by scheduling several events during one process, rather than making these events on each date of occurrence with the same title and settings over and over. However, when a user copies a Recurring Event, they will find that the resulting Event is not Recurring in nature but behaves as a Single Event.
The reason for this behavior is that, when you open one of the events in the Recurring Event series, you are opening a single instance of that Event and, therefore, the copy of that Event will behave as a Single Event. If you intend on setting up a new Recurring Event, we advise bypassing the copy process and simply creating a new Recurring Event from scratch.
