When entering an event registration in BBIS, you might notice that an existing constituent who wasn't automatched in the batch, still has their record updated when the batch is committed.
Download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.
Steps to Duplicate
1) Create a constituent in CRM and fill out all the contact information. 2) Go to the Web functional area, click Manage web transactions, click Configure Integration, and go to the Auto-match tab. Take note of the settings used to auto-match constituents. Change it to Last name, first name, and any email. 3) Go to BBIS and register for an event using the constituent information of the constituent you just created. Misspell the email address on both the attendee and payment pages. 4) Complete the registration and download the transaction in CRM. 5) Notice that the constituent isn't automatched. 6) Commit the batch 7) Visit the constituent record that you entered in step 1. 8) Notice that the record was updated as the result of the batch commitment. 9) You might also find a new constituent was created as well.
