The INSERT statement conflicted with the CHECK constraint "CK_PROSPECTMANAGERHISTORY_VALIDCONSTITUENT". when bulk assigning prospects.

When trying to bulk assign prospects from one Prospect Manager to another, the process fails with the error message: "The INSERT statement conflicted with the CHECK constraint "CK_PROSPECTMANAGERHISTORY_VALIDCONSTITUENT". The conflict occurred in database "30526P_c5041fe7-3d60-4725-806a-c92cfeeebd7b", table "dbo.PROSPECTMANAGERHISTORY".
The prospect manager is also listed as a former prospect manager.  To correct this delete the prospect manager from being a former manager.
  1. Open the prospect record
  2. Select the Prospect tab > Prospect Manager History Tab
  3. Delete the row that appears for the Prospect Manager

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to the Analysis tab
2. Click Information library
3. Click Add an ad-hoc query
4. Choose the Constituents Source view
5. Set the query up with the filters:
Prospect\Prospect Manager\Name is equal
and Constituencies\Constituency is one of
and Inactive is equal to No

Set the query up with these fields to display:
Name
Prospect\Prospect Manager\Name
Address (Primary)\State abbreviation
Prospect\Prospect manager start date
Prospect\Prospect manager end date

6. Save the query with a name of your choice and check the Create a selection? box. Leave it set to Create a dynamic selection although the error happens when Create a static selection is selected as well.
7. Go to the Prospects tab
8. Click Manage prospects and plans in bulk
9. Select the Prospect Assignment Process tab
10. Click Add
11. Set up the Add a prospect assignment process with:
A Name of your choice
The Reassign prospect assignments option selected
Choose the selection created earlier for the Prospect selection: field
Choose the Prospect Manager the prospects are being transferred from for the Prospects assigned to: field
Choose the Prospect Manager the prospects are being assigned to for the Assign to: field
Check the Transfer prospect manager assignments option

12. Click Save
13. Click the down chevron next to the newly created prospect assignment process and click Start process
14. The process will fail with the error message
