Error: launch.ica failed to download

When using the Google Chrome web browser, you may be prompted to save as a launch file in a new window that shows your downloads.
This issue is caused by reaching 100 instances of the launch.ica file in your downloads folder. To delete the previous launch.ica files from your Windows workstation:
  1. Go to the downloads folder for your computer.
  2. Delete all 100 launch files from your downloads folder.
    1. Click the top launch(#) file in your downloads list so that it is highlighted.
    2. Click the launch(#) file at the bottom of that list while holding Shift to highlight all Launch files.
    3. Right click the highlighted files and Delete.
Note: Single clicking on the application Icons and waiting for them to load before opening an additional application will help prevent these files from building up in your downloads folder. Additionally, make sure that your web browser is configured for Blackbaud Hosted Services:

Google Chrome

NOTE: You may be prompted to install Citrix Receiver when you open the Hosting website in Chrome due to Google removing support for the Citrix Receiver plugin. Click "Skip to logon" if you know Citrix has been installed on your computer.

Create an exception for the Pop-up blocker:

  1. Click the menu button (Three vertically stacked dots in the top right of the Chrome window)
  2. Select Settings
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the window and select "Show Advanced Settings"
  4. Under Privacy, click the Content Settings button.
  5. Scroll down to the Pop-ups section.  If "Do not allow any site to show pop-ups" is selected, click Manage Exceptions
  6. Add the URL for your datacenter to the list and choose Allow.  Then click OK.

Steps to Duplicate
