When unlocking the RODBA module, you are prompted to enter a user name and password which creates a read-only SQL user account on the database instance. This account can also be used to connect Crystal Reports directly to the database. If the user credentials are lost or the password forgotten, please follow the steps below to reset the RODBA user credentials.

Email unlockcodes@blackbaud.com your product version number and database serial number (Help>About) and request both the lock and unlock codes for RODBA. 

Lock and Unlock the RODBA module
  1. Login to the Blackbaud application (RE/FE/EE) with the Supervisor account.
  2. Select Tools > Unlock Optional Modules from the upper menu bar.
  3. Enter the RODBA lock code in all capital letters and click OK.
  4. Logout completely from the Blackbaud application to complete the process.
  5. Repeat steps #1 and #2 from above.
  6. Enter the RODBA unlock code in all capital letters and follow the prompts.
  7. Logout completely from the Blackbaud application to complete the process.
