Email source ID in the Raiser's Edge and the email job ID in NetCommunity are not reporting the same number

You have sent an email from NetCommunity and noted the email job ID listed in the status log. You receive a donation from an email recipient and the email source ID associated with the gift differs from the email job ID in NetCommunity.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into Netcommunity and select Email > Messages.
  2. Create a new message and send final.
  3. When you receive the message, click a link to access the site through the email and submit a transaction.
  4. Process the transaction in the NetCommunity plugin of Raiser's Edge.
  5. Open the gift record, view the attributes tab and note the email source ID associated with the giftdiffers from the email job ID listed in the message report.
