There are a few methods of finding an old email. They include:
  • URL Hacking - If you know the message ID and the campaign for the email then URL hacking can be used to attempt to find the location of the email within an email campaign to use again. To do this, you'll want to:
  1. Select Email -> Email Campaigns -> Campaigns tab
  2. Click Manage next to the Campaign you think the message was sent from
  3. Select Messages tab
  4. Click Edit beside any message
  5. Replace the message ID with the one you're looking for in the URL (Ex: foo.convio.net/site/MessageViewer?em_id=xxxx.y where "x" is the message ID and "y" is the variant number, usually "0")
  6. Repeat as needed in different campaigns until you find your message
  7. Make note of the name and click the Messages tab
  8. Click Copy beside the message to create a new copy that can be edited and sent
  • Email Calendar - If you know the send date for the email, you can use that date to find the message in the Email Calendar. To do this:
  1. Select Email -> Email Campaigns -> Email Calendar tab
  2. Search by Month, Week, Day or List tabs until you can find the message on the date it was sent
  3. Click Review
  4. Select Messages tab
  5. Click Copy beside the message to create a new copy that can be edited and sent
  • Contact Support - If neither of those options work, please contact Support with this article ID as a reference and provide any additional information for the email. (Name of email, subject, date email was sent/received, Message ID, constituent who received the email, etc.)
