We are not able to change the dates of the Benchmark Reports, however we can create custom reports to view the same information on any data entered into eTapestry. Please note, the custom reports will show the My Organization data, but the Aggregate Data (which accounts for data in other organizations' databases) is only available with the Benchmark Reports.

We can use the Giving Dynamics Report to compare the data between two date ranges:
  1. Click Reports
  2. Click eTapestry Standard Reports
  3. Under Executive Reports, click Giving Dynamics Report
  4. Select a query (we may select Base/ All Constituents to see everyone)
  5. Fill in the start and end dates for each period
  6. Select which type of amount will be shown in the report: Raised, Received, or Gifted (What is the difference between Gifted, Raised, and Received Fields in Queries and Reports?)
  7. Mark if you would like to include In-Kind Gifts
  8. Select a Report Format and click Submit

We can also create a custom report to display data that is similar to the data in the Benchmark Status Report. Before creating the report, we need to create a query containing all the Journal Entries we want to include in this report. Please see How do I find all donations within a specific date range. Once you've created the query, we'll use the steps listed below to create the report:
  1. Click Reports
  2. Click Manage Reports
  3. Select a category that you want to store this report in 
  4. Click New Report under the Task Menu
  5. Name the report
  6. Under Browse Fields, select Journal Fields in the drop down menu and click Type twice, Pledged twice, Gifted twice, Raised, and Received.
  7. Click on the three dots to the left of the second Type column, and select Count as your Aggregate
  8. Click on the name of that column and rename it Transaction Count
  9. Click on the three dots to the left of the second Pledged column, and select Average as your Aggregate
  10. Click on the name of that column and rename it Average Pledged
  11. Click on the three dots to the left of the second Gifted column, and select Average as your Aggregate
  12. Click on the name of that column and rename it Average Gift
  13. Scroll up to Group Results, select to Group Report By Type and Collapse Groups
  14. Click Save and Run under the Task Menu
  15. Under Query select your category in the top box and your query in the bottom box
  16. At the bottom of the page select a Delivery Option and then click Submit
