Constituent Lookup ID's replaced during import process

After performing a constituent update batch you may notice that the constituents who were apart of the batch had their constituent lookup IDs replaced with a generic ID from Altru.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click administration > import > add
  2. Choose the constituent update batch template > click OK
  3. Upload the .CSV file and map your fields > click save
  4. Start the import process
  5. After the process is finished commit the batch that was created
  6. Go to the constituent record of a constituent that was apart of the batch and click on the history tab
  7. Click view report
  8. Notice that the custom identifier was changed to a new ID
