Error Saving: Transactions cannot be added outside of journal entry - when Globally changing reverse on date within a journal entry

You may receive the "Error Saving - Transactions cannot be added outside of journal entry" when Globally changing reverse on date within a journal entry
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

An existing method that will work in the meantime is below.
1. Select General Ledger > Journal Entry 
2. Open the desired Journal Entry
3. Create a Reversal Batch by clicking on the Green Exclamation with the blue arrow across it
4. Click on Batch > Globally Change Transactions...
5. Double click on Posted on
6. Set Operation to Add and enter the desired reversal post date
7. Mark the box overwrite existing values
8. Click OK
9. Click Preview Changes and note all transactions show to be changed
10. Click Change now 
  - Note:  The change is successful 
11. Click OK

Steps to Duplicate

1. Select GL > JE > New Regular Batch
2. Add any desired transactions but leave the Reverse on Date blank
3. Save the batch
4. Click on Batch > Globally Change Transactions...
5. Double click on Revers on
6. Set Operation to Add and any desired date
7. Leave box marked or unmarked to overwrite existing values
8. Click OK
9. Click Preview Changes and note all transactions show to be changed
10. Click Change now 
  - Note:  All are Unchanged
11. Click OK
  - Note: error Saving: Transactions cannot be added outside of journal entry
