Users report the following errors in Luminate when using the RELO plugin.
Error: Server is not available (Raiser's Edge Connection Failure: (Invalid username or password.)
After updating the Raiser's Edge user account associated with the Raiser's Edge Luminate Online integration users report the following intermittent error:
Error : Server is not available (Raiser's Edge Connection Failure: (Invalid procedure call or argument))
The RELO integration uses a unique username and password that must be configured in Raiser'sEdge and Luminate. Once the RELO integration is turned on the RE user account should not be modified as this can impact the connectivity of the integration. If any changes have occurred or users report this error please navigate to the following:
1. Raiser'sEdge, Administration, Security. 2. Locate the username, this is typically created during implementation and may appear with their site id as: 12345_relointegrationuser. Ensure this user has Supervisor rights. 3. Reset the password (please ensure the password does not contain special characters) and provide the update to Luminate Support to update your Luminate configuration.
NOTE: This error was identified as an issue impacting Raiser's Edge clients hosted by Blackbaud using the RELO integration on December 12, 2016. This was resolved December 13, 2016.
