When a duplicate record syncs to the RELO plugin with a TeamRaiser registration users report the second registration is changed to an additional donation in Luminate Online.
This issue can occur when a donor creates a second registration using a different email address for the same event. When the transaction syncs to the RELO plugin, users would like to merge the records to consolidate the duplicate entry. The registration is converted to an additional donation because TeamRaiser requires unique registration information for each entry. When the merge occurs in Raiser's Edge the master record retains the original registration, the secondary record merged in Raiser's Edge will convert the registration to an additional donation to adhere to the TeamRaiser functionality.
