Student was recorded absent for a partial day, (totaling three classes), yet only received one Infraction, worth one point and not three.
The Attendance Rule set up in Conduct assigns one point every time a student has an unexcused absence from class.
When the Attendance Manager records a student absence, even for a partial day, the code counts that absence as just one incident. It will not count the number of obligations missed by the student for the day.
However, for each absence recorded by a teacher, the meeting time/class is checked against the Attendance of Record and applied toward the Attendance Rule, as appropriate. If the Attendance of Record is per period and a student is marked absent by three of his/her teachers, and the reason matches the Attendance Rule in Conduct, the student would receive three Infraction points.
