"The section could not be loaded. Unable to load data list.Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding."

The process did not complete when trying to calculate segment counts. The error message received was: "The section could not be loaded. Unable to load data list.Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding." 

Download and install the latest Service Pack which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.  

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Setting up the DME settings
  2. Importing the direct marketing effort import file (which adds the parent and child segments)
  3. Importing the segmented house file (which adds the constituents to the appropriate source code/segment)
  4. Navigate to a Direct Marketing Effort.
  5. Click the Calculate segment counts on the left hand side.
  6. Note the error "The section could not be loaded. Unable to load data list. Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.
