General Ledger Report not sorting by date

When running the General ledger Report and sorting by transaction date, the report is not in order by date. 
We resolved this issue in version 7.87.164, patch 18.

Download and install the latest patch, which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to General Ledger > Reports > Account Reports.
  2. General Ledger Report > new Report.
  3. Go to format tab and Sort break and select sort by transaction date.
  4. Preview report and notice the dates are not in order.
