Luminate assigns a reputation score to each site, which determines the IP addresses your site will send from. The reputation score is calculated based on the number of reported spam complaints, compared to your total emails sent over the last 30 days. Please note, this math can't be done manually via reporting data in Luminate because not all Email Providers return spam feedback to senders. The system calculates spam ratings based on the percentage of emails sent to providers that return spam feedback to us through their Feedback Loop.

Your spam score can be seen at the top-right corner of the Luminate Online administrative interface (e.g Email Complaints: 0.0196%). The system will automatically provision your site with delivery IP addresses that match your site's email reputation. Your spam complaint score is updated daily and the IP addresses will cycle in real-time to stay as close as possible to your site's score. This process is automated by a proprietary algorithm that runs at the database level.

An important thing to note is that Email Providers (like Gmail and Yahoo) put more weight on domain reputation. IP reputation is less important than domain reputation and is only one of many factors in determining your overall sender reputation with any specific email provider.
