It is not possible to get a dedicated sender IP address. Blackbaud and many other email marketing platforms have moved away from using dedicated IPs. Having a dedicated IP address actually has a detrimental impact on email deliverability. Most Email Service Providers (ESPs) like Gmail and Yahoo use algorithms that look at delivery pacing from a sender to determine if the system is used for SPAM. When using a dedicated IP for a single client, the sending volume shows wide swings between high volume over short periods of time and little to no volume over a long period of time. This pattern has been identified by ESPs as spammy behavior. Using shared IPs insures that there is a steady and constant flow of volume.
