North Carolina Taxes are incorrect for 2017

North Carolina State Taxes are incorrect for the 2017 amounts after updating to the End of Year patch or Patch 16 resulting in incorrect tax tables.
To correct the North Carolina State tax tables we can manually update the tax tables within Payroll. 
  1. In Configuration, click Taxes.
  2. Select State Tax Type drop-down menu.
  3. Open the tax table.
  4. Make any appropriate changes.
  5. Click Save and Close.
  6. Define federal tax, state tax, local tax, and W-2 information for each employee.

Note: we always recommend users check new tax tables against the state provided tax table updates. 

Steps to Duplicate

Steps to see incorrect amounts after end of year update of the tax tables within Payroll. 

1. In Configuration, click Taxes. 
2. Select State Taxes Type drop-down menu. 
3. Select New Tax and select the state NC from the drop-down menu and click ok. 
4. Review the amounts and notice they are incorrect.
Note the rate are from 2016.
