My finder number proofs connect to incorrect constituents in batch

Organizations may order proofs of reply devices for a marketing effort from a vendor by sending the vendor an export file from the marketing effort. When entering or scanning the finder number from the proofs into batch, a user may notice that the finder number is not connected to the expected constituent.
Finder numbers may be altered in a marketing effort any time up to the point of activation. If the proofs were ordered based on an export generated prior to activating the effort, finder numbers associated with the marketing effort may have changed. It is recommended to activate an effort, to lock in the finder numbers, prior to ordering materials associated with the marketing effort.
