Constituent Code and Address from source record appear twice on merge record when merging Constituents

Users may find that, when merging one constituent record into another, the Constituent Codes and Addresses are copied twice from the source record.
This is resolved in Raiser's Edge 7.96 patch 3, applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services in March 2017 and planned for download availability in April 2017. For further updates on releases as they become available, please see our Community Release page.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Open the constituent record to be merged into another record.
2. Select Constituent>Merge>Merge from [Constituent name] into...
3. Search to find the Constituent to merge into.
4. Click Open.
5. On the Merge Constituents window, move all fields from the Merge from pane to the Merge to pane.
6. Click Merge now.
7. Open the merged Constituent record. Note that Constituent Codes and Addresses from the source record appear on the merged record twice.
