In the 12.30 release of LCRM, we made updates to both the relationship widget and the general ledger export tool. In order to use the new relationship widget there are some steps that must be followed in the post installation instructions here:

Post Installation Instructions

For the vast majority of administrators that is all that is needed. But, some of our clients have custom profiles setup in their LCRM instance, and for the admins under those profiles, there may be some additional steps needed to see either the relationship widget or the updated GL Export Tool.

If you notice one of your admins on a custom profile cannot see the updated GL Export Tool, or updated Relationship widget you can follow these steps:
  1. Select Setup > Manage Users > Users and find the user that is having trouble.
  2. On the far right of the user list, there is a column for profile. Click on the profile for the user that is having trouble.
  3. On the top of the Profile screen, there is a quick actions section that you can hover over for "Enabled Visualforce Page Access." Hover over this and click Edit.
  4. On the Enable Visualforce Page Access edit screen from the menu of items with the heading "Available Visualforce Pages" find and click cv.GeneralLedger and then click the > arrow to add that Visualforce page to the list of Enabled Visualforce Pages.
  5. Repeat step 4 except this time add cv.GeneralLedgerHelp, cv.RelationshipWidgetContact and cv.RelationshipWidgetAccount.
  6. Click Save.
If General Ledger Tool / updated relationship widget is still not available:
  1. Select Setup > Manage Users > Users and find the user that is having trouble.
  2. On the far right of the user list, there is a column for profile. Click on the profile for the user that is having trouble.
  3. On the profile page, Click the Edit Button.
  4. Under the heading Custom Object Permissions, find General Ledger Export Logs and check the check boxes for Read, Create, Edit, Delete, View All, and Modify All.
  5. Repeat if necessary for Relationships.
  6. Click Save.
Performing those steps for any custom profiles should allow the users under that profile to see the updated GL Export tool and updated Relationship widget.

Please keep in mind for LCRM, only the default System Administrator profile falls under Blackbaud's Scope of Support. For Custom profiles, there are a few items that Support will check for your organization as a courtesy. These items include:
  • Object visibility
  • Admin-User record setup
  • Profile visibility for admin-user profile
