Recurring Invoice Schedule Update makes next schedule invoice date move 1 month forward

Recurring invoices in Accounts Receivable have a schedule function where we can choose the date in each month we can generate new invoices. This date can be changed later to a different date and the next scheduled invoice should update to reflect the new date. If the new date happens to be earlier than the original date, then the next schedule date is jumping 1 month forward and missing the next needed date.
We are currently investigating this issue and will update this article.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. In AR, go to saved recurrning invoice.
  2.  click on the invoice schedule tab, and click schedule.
  3. Enter a date that is earlier than the current date. If the invoice is to be generated on the 10th of every month, use the 9th.
  4. Click ok to close this window. 
  5. Click the schedule button again to open the window again. See that the Next date reflects the next month on the new date, but skips the current month's date.
