I'm receiving emails about "An integration error has been logged in our Salesforce audit log". What should I do?

Here are two examples of an email you may receive:

IF LOCALLY INSTALLED FIMS:

From: MicroEdge Support [mailto:fimssupport@microedge.com]
Sent: [Day], [Date] [Time]
To: [Client email address that is setup in System Options]
Subject: Your Salesforce Account: A FIMS Integration Error Has Been Logged

An integration error has been logged in your Salesforce audit log and MicroEdge technical support has been notified.

The following error was entered in the Audit Log:
Log File Name: [Local Server Path]\npo\found\sftempfiles\SalesForce\_SFSYNC_[random generated number]\_SFSYNC_[Date]_[random generated number].log

Subject: FIMS-Salesforce Synchronization Errors

Detail: Errors were noted during the synchronization process and they have been logged in the noted Log File. These records/edits did not sync to FIMS CRM. Please review the log file and fix the errors in FIMS. If you have questions regarding the errors, please contact FIMS Support. Thank you.

Transaction Date: [Date] [Time]
Organization Name: [Foundation Name]

You should open the FIMS-CRM log file referenced in the email message:
The following error was entered in the Audit Log:
Log File Name: [Local Server Path]\npo\found\sftempfiles\SalesForce\_SFSYNC_[random generated number]\_SFSYNC_[Date]_[random generated number].log


You can browser through Windows Explorer (if FIMS is locally installed) or My Files (if Hostnet) to that location and open the file.
For local installed FIMS, you can use the mapped "N:" drive and follow "\found\sftempfiles\...".
For Hostnet FIMS, you can use the "S:" drive and follow "\tempfiles\sftempfiles\..."
 
It's just a text log file so notepad can open it just fine.  Most of the text in the log is informational and can be ignored.

Attached is a guide to some of the most common sync errors.  You can likely match up the error(s) in the log with one of the errors in this document.  The document contains errors and the action (if necessary) to resolve.
