Confirm the number of email recipients does not exceed the maximum limit.

Confirm the List Acquisition, Email Job and Raiser's Edge Integration settings are not set faster than recommended.

Confirm the NetCommunity version components match.

Check the list acquisition time
The email message will take at least the amount of refresh duration for each list in the message.
  1. Navigate to Email>List
  2. Locate the list utilized in your email message and click the pencil icon to edit it
    • Note the Refresh duration and last Refreshed on date
  3. If the last refreshed on date was not within the last month, click the Refresh list button.
Check the previous email processing time
Previous email processing time is a good indication of how long the email should typically take. There can be some variance, but this is a good indicator. 
Pre Version 7.1
  1. Navigate to Email>List
  2. Locate the list utilized in the message and click the pencil icon to edit it
  3. Click the List Messages tab
  4. Make note of the names of the email messages listed
  5. Navigate to Email>Messages
  6. Locate the first name of the email previous using the list and click the graph icon
  7. Click the Status log button
  8. Note the time from Processing to Processed
  9. Repeat 5-8 for any additional messages
Post Version 7.1
  1. Navigate to Email>List
  2. Locate the list utilized in the message and click the pencil icon to edit it
  3. Click the List Messages tab
  4. Click the Checkbox icon for a previous message
  5. Note the time from Processing to Processed
 
If all the above information is verified and the email processing is taking longer than it previous did, for the same exact message, click Chat with Support and reference this article. Please be prepared to share the following information with Support:
  • Link to the NetCommunity Website
  • Username and Password to access the NetCommunity website
  • Name of the list utilized in the current email message, which has previous been utilized
Note: Support will verify all previous steps above have been completed and necessary action taken, before troubleshooting further.
