Profile information is not updated when processing an auto-linked membership transaction

When processing memberships transactions in the NetCommunity plugin a prompt is normally displayed stating 'This transaction has unprocessed Profile Updates. Would you like to process them?'. This allows you to apply any changes the user made to their profile information. However, if the transaction displays an auto-match the same prompt is not displayed and the constituent linking window must be opened to have the information update.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Submit a membership transaction from any NetCommunity membership form using infiormation for an existing constituent record
  2. process the transaction normally in the NetCommunity plugin
  3. Notice the message to upodate profile information is displayed
  4. go to the same page and resubmit another transaction with the same Name but different address info
  5. Attempt to process the transaction normally
  6. Notice that he prompt is not displayed and the transaction is processed
  7. Check the constituent record
  8. Address information has not been updated
