Entering a reverse on date does not create a reversing entry for a journal entry

Entering a reverse on date does not create a reversing entry for an posted manual journal entry.

  • A copy of your database may be needed
  • Please include the specific batch and transaction with the reverse date

Steps to Duplicate

1. In General Ledger> Journal Entry
2. Open specific regular batch
3. Notice the specific transaction have reverse dates in the Reversal column 
4. Reversing entries were not created

These were the steps taken to enter the reverse on dates:

1. In Journal Entry, opened an existing Batch.
2. Entered a reversing date in the Reverse On column
3. Validated and posted the batch.
