You can find what patrons have not printed their tickets by creating a sales order query in Altru:
  1. Go to Analysis > Information Library
  2. Click Add an ad-hoc query
  3. Select the source view of Sales Orders and click OK.
  4. First, to find anyone who would have received an eTicket, in the left column, highlight Delivery Method. From the middle column, drag Name to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to eTicket. Your field will appear like this: Delivery Method\Name is equal to eTicket.
  5. Next, to find patrons who have purchased tickets to a specific program event, in the left column, expand Sales Order Item, then expand Sales Order Item Ticket. Beneath Sales Order Item Ticket, highlight Program Event. From the middle column, drag Program Event Record to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to the program event you're looking for. Your field will look similar to this: Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Ticket\Program Event is equal to Space Show
  6. Next, we need to find anyone who has not accessed their eTicket. Important: When a patron clicks their eTicket link, this marks the eTicket as printed and generates a Ticket Number which is the barcode you need to scan. To find anyone who hasn't printed their ticket, all we need to do is find any order that has tickets without Ticket Numbers. To do this, from the left column, beneath where you expanded Sales Order Item Program in the previous step, highlight Ticket. From the middle column, drag Ticket Number to Include Records Where. Set this to be blank. Your field will appear like this: Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Ticket\Tickets\Ticket number is blank.
  7. Optional: If you would like to only include Active tickets (tickets that have not been cancelled), drag Status from the middle column to Include Records Where. Set this to be equal to Active. Your field will appear like this one: Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Ticket\Tickets\Status is equal to Active. Here is an example of what your query filters will look like when these steps are complete:

  8. The last step is to include any information you will need about these tickets in the output. Here are some suggestions:
    1. To add patron name, in the left column, highlight Constituents. From the middle drag Name to Results fields to display. Your field will appear like this one: Constituent\Name

    2. To add email address, in the left column, highlight Email Address. From the middle column drag Email address to Results fields to display. Your field will appear like this: Email Address\Email Address

    3. To add the price type and number of tickets, from the left column, go back to the Tickets node (expand Sales Order Item, expand Sales Order Item Ticket, then highlight Tickets). From the middle column, drag Price Type code to Results fields to display. Your field will appear like this: Sales Order Item\Sales Order Item Ticket\Tickets\Price Type code. User-added image
    4. To see the number of tickets purchased, drag the above field out to Results fields to display again, and this time count the second instance using the Sigma sign at the top of the Results Fields to display box:
