Number of sold tickets greater than number of tickets scanned on event attendance report

When reviewing the Event attendance report in Altru you may notice that the number of sold tickets on the report is greater than the number of scanned tickets even though your ticket scanning options are set to mark tickets as scanned once they are sold in daily sales. 
Make sure there are no tickets sold outside of daily sales. The ticket scanning options are only for tickets sold through daily sales so if there are any orders that were processed through Advance, online, or group sales their ticket scanned column would not update on the event attendance report until the ticket has been scanned.
