Credit Card Updater only leaves four digits for credit card after update

Credit Card Updater removed the tokenized value from a gift record.
Why did Credit Card Updater remove the asterisks from a Credit Card stored on a gift record?

After using the Credit Card Updater service to process updates to any invalid or expired credit card numbers, the program is left with four digits in the credit card field rather than the typical tokenized version (************####).
This is a cosmetic change made in February 2017 to how credit card information is stored in Raiser's Edge. There is no functionality change or difference in how credit card data is stored within Blackbaud Payment Services.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Log into The Raiser's Edge
2. Navigate to the Data Health Center
3. Run Credit Card Updater
4. Updated credit card numbers appear with just four digits
