Project activity does not sort by date

When setting up the Project Activity report to sort by Project ID , Account number and Date, it does not sort by date, even when it's using the same project ID and account number.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Reports
2. Project report
3. New project Activity report
4, Select a date range and make sure the report is set to "detail"
5. Go to the Format tab
6. Select Sort
7. It should be set to Project ID, ascending, mark the "break" box
   Go to the next line, and select "account number" under "sort by", that should be ascending and mark the "break box"
   Go to the next line and select "date" under "sort by", that should be ascending.
8. Run the report and start at page 4, notice for transactions under the same project ID and account are not sorting by date
