This error is caused when the membership level you are trying to import does not exist in Altru or is marked inactive.

You have two options to resolve this error:
Option 1: Change the level in your CSV file to a level that does exist in Altru
  1. Go to Memberships > click on your membership program.
  2. Go to the Levels or Terms and Levels tab. 
  3. Under Membership levels, view the levels you have that are active.
  4. Open your CSV file and change the values in the column Level to one of the active levels.
  5. Save the CSV file.
  6. Go to Administration > Import.
  7. Click on your green downward arrows next to your import process and click Edit.
  8. Change the import source to Local file.
  9. In the File field, click the green arrow and browse out to the newly saved CSV.  Select it. 
  10. Map your import fields again.
  11. Save your import process, then click on it and click Start Process.
Option 2: Add these levels in the CSV file to Altru or make them active levels again.  This is probably not recommended, unless these are truly new levels you have added. 
  1. Go to Memberships > click on your membership program.
  2. Go to the Levels or Terms and Levels tab. 
  3. Under Membership levels, click Edit.
  4. If the level already exists, mark the checkbox under the Active column.
  5. If it is a new level, click the level that is one higher up than this level, then click Insert to add the new level.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Go to Administration > Import.
  8. Click on the import process and click Start Process again.
