Error: The given key was not present in the dictionary - when creating new Enhanced Revenue batches after upgrading to Service Pack 11.

After upgrading to 4.0 Service Pack 11, users are encountering the error "The given key was not present in the dictionary" when creating new enhanced revenue batches that uses a custom batch template. 
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.
 

Steps to Duplicate

1) Navigate to Batch Entry. 
2) Click "+Add" a new uncommitted batch.
3) Select the an Enhanced Revenue Batch that uses a custom batch template.
4) Click Save
5) Search for any constituent
6) Enter all required fields 
7) Click "Save and close" 
8) Receive the error message: The given key was not present in the dictionary.
