Error: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_MKTFINDERNUMBERCONSTITUENT'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.MKTFINDERNUMBERCONSTITUENT'. The duplicate key value is (xxxx). - When using a Constituent Merge Process

When merging constituents using a Constituent Merge Process, users may encounter the following error:

Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'PK_MKTFINDERNUMBERCONSTITUENT'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.MKTFINDERNUMBERCONSTITUENT'. The duplicate key value is (xxxx).
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.

Steps to Duplicate

1.    Navigate to Analysis > Information Library. Find the query used as a selection in your Incremental duplicate search. Open it and refresh its results.
2.    Navigate to Constituents > Duplicates > Incremental duplicate search. Make sure the Selection for the process matches the Selection from Step 1. Click Start process.
3.    Once the process completes, navigate to Constituents > Duplicates > Constituent Merge. Expand the Merge Process in question and click Start process.
4.    When the process finishes, download the output. See the error in the resulting excel file for several constituents.
