Batch Defaults are not saving for Appeal when Package is also used in Defaults

Defaults can be set for a Gift Batch to speed up data entry.  When defaults are set for Appeal and Package, and the field of Package is placed above/before Appeal on the Fields tab the default is not saved for the Appeal.
Because Appeal is a required field to add a Package, this issue can be resolved by placing the Appeal before the Package in the list of fields. 

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into RE
  2. Click Batch on the navigation bar
  3. Open an existing batch or click new batch at the top
  4. Select Tools, Edit Batch Setup
  5. Select the Fields tab
  6. Move Package and Appeal to the right (in that order)
  7. Select the Defaults tab
  8. Enter values into the Package and Appeal by clicking on the dropdown
  9. Click Save
  10. Default Appeal disappears
