This occurs because the Total Revenue and Payments report is a dynamic report, not a static report, and all totals shown on the report are as of the current date. 
  • If you have a pledge that is paid off, the pledge will no longer show on the report.
  • Any pledge payments made will be reflected under Payment Method Distribution

This exact functionality is not something that Altru can currently do.
