The first parent to sign the contract will be prompted with the following language and a choice of yes or no:
"We found that you have already started a contract for another child. If you wish, you can add your children to the same Smart Tuition account on the same payment plan and corresponding payment method. With a single account, your children will appear on the same invoices and statements. If your payment plan charges an administrative fee, you will only need to pay it once. Choosing separate accounts will allow you to select different payment plans and payment methods for each child. Your children will appear on separate statements and invoices. If your payment plans charge an administrative fee, you will need to pay it for each child."
If the first user of a non split family has chosen no to that question, there will not be an option to change the payment plan and the accounts would have to be manually adjusted in Smart Tuition.
