After specifying an increased CmsEmail_MediumTimeout timeout in the CRM and BBIS web.config files, you might notice that the timeout is ignored and email jobs will still fail after 5 or so minutes, the default value.
We are currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
1) Update the CmsEmail_MediumTimeout value to 600 seconds in both the CRM and BBIS webconfig files. 2) Send an email job. 3) Notice that the timeout error occurs before 600 seconds.
