When running an Adjusted Gift Report and marking the box for Include General Ledger Numbers, the following error occurs:

General ODBC Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]String or binary data would be truncated.
Native error:8152
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]The statement has been terminated.
Native error:3621

This is resolved in 7.96, patch 12, released in July-August 2018 and applied to databases in Blackbaud Hosting Services. If your database is installed locally, download and install the latest version and patch, if applicable.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Reports> Financial Reports> Select Adjusted Gift Report> Click New
2. Make necessary selections in report (date range, filters, etc).
3. In the Format tab, select Detail> Mark the boxes for Include general ledger numbers.
4. Click Preview
5. Error appears
