1. Go to Constituents > Constituent Search.
  2. Search for the constituent and select the constituent that has the exception.
    1. Note: If you cannot find the constituent, click Show Advanced Search Options.
    2. Mark the box to Include inactive and include deceased and any other applicable options.
    3. Click Search again.
  3. Go to the Relationships tab.
  4. Click on the household.
  5. Go to the Members tab.
  6. Click on the green downward arrows next to the constituent with the exception.
  7. Click Remove.
  8. Unmark the checkbox to "Maintain member history with group"  and leave the box marked to "Stop member from receiving recognition."
  9. Click Save.
  10. Re-run the Constituent Merge process.
