BBIS Email Statistics and Send Status Not Displaying Correctly

All emails being sent through BBIS and Blackbaud CRM only show a status of Processed even after the message is received. When viewing statistics for those messages, all info shows zeros - 0% open rate, clickthrough, etc.
When exporting statistics, opens and clicks appear in the worksheet.

This issue occurred for two reasons:

  • The "Update CMS Email Status Business Process" stopped running for a period of time.  
  • Once it started working again, it was timing out due to the amount of data needed to "catch up" after the process stopped.  

To increase the timeout add the following key to the AppSettings section of both BBIS and CRM:
